With the launch of the website www.dadcomehome.org/en started the international project of several organizations from Lithuania, Iceland, Denmark and Malta "Modern Men in Enlarged Europe: Developing Innovative Gender Equality Strategies", financed by the European Commission. Coordinator of the project is Office of the Ombudsman on Equal Opportunities, Lithuania. The project aims at encouraging men to devote more time to their families and children, presenting paternity leave as a sign of modernity and "coolness". The participants hope that with this project women will get support and acknowledgement and can devote more time to her career. There is a profit to all – men, women, children, the family, employers and the society.
CWSP would like to thank the Center for Equality Advancement, Vilnius, who is one of the main project partners, for kindly providing us with information about this interesting and motivating project.
