During the 16 days campaign the P.U.L.S. Foundation’s initiatives focused on the issue of domestic violence. The foundation ran a training with more than 40 representatives of the Police in Pernik aimed at educating them how to properly react in cases of domestic violence and to support both women and children victims of violence. Importantly, their campaign encompassed five smaller towns and villages from the region, which as a rule have a more difficult access to information. As a part of the awareness raising campaign a video clip was shot and broadcast on the cable TV stations “Krakra”, “7 Days”, and “Channel 3”. Furthermore, as an act of solidarity with women survivors of violence on 10^th of December a Day of the Open Doors was instigated and a White Ribbon Campaign was run.
